This series of harassing calls was first told by MARILYN MONROES friend JEANNE CARMEN on page 348 in the book GODDESS The Secret Lives of Marilyn Monroe by investigative journalist ANTHONY SUMMERS published in 1985.
In addition, JEANNE CARMEN told the BBC about MM calling her and saying she had received a series of harassing calls throughout the night that kept her awake in the landmark television expose SAY GOODBYE TO THE PRESIDENT. (6:40 into clip) first broadcast in 1985..
